Where to find it

Quick access to common actions

Account, Registration and Login

Where do I create an account?

Select Register from the main menu. First choose End User or Machinery Marketer, then complete the required fields marked with an asterisk. The Create Account button becomes available after inline validation and CAPTCHA are complete.

Which account type should I choose?

Choose End User when you buy or sell machinery for your own use. Choose Machinery Marketer when you are a machinery dealer, reseller, broker, auctioneer, consultant, service provider, valuer, transporter, or another machinery-market business. Account type cannot be switched after registration.

What happens after registration?

Your account is created as inactive until both email and mobile verification are complete. Verify the email link first, then complete the mobile or WhatsApp verification shown on the Verify Contact Details page. You may login while unverified, but protected marketplace actions remain unavailable.

How do I login?

Select Login, enter your registered email, and continue. On the next step use your password or choose OTP. Selecting OTP opens the OTP page; use Send OTP when you are ready. Indian users receive login OTP by SMS to the registered mobile. Non-Indian users receive it through the configured eligible WhatsApp number or registered email.

Why does login return me to an offer or marketer page?

When login starts from Send Enquiry, Make an Offer, Request Price, Want to Inspect, or Claim This Business, Masinery returns you to that page after successful login so you can continue the same action. If the action was already submitted, the page shows its existing status instead of allowing a duplicate.

How do I reset a forgotten password?

From Login select Forgot Password. A time-limited link is sent to the registered email. Open it, confirm the requested account details, then enter and confirm a new password. A used or expired link cannot be reused.

Verification and Contact Security

Where do I verify email, mobile, or WhatsApp?

Open Dashboard > Account > Security. Each unverified contact displays a Verify option. The Verify Contact Details page also provides a Back to Security button.

How are Indian users verified?

Email is verified through its secure email link. Mobile is verified by SMS OTP. WhatsApp is verified by WhatsApp OTP. Indian mobile and WhatsApp numbers must contain exactly 10 digits without the country code; Masinery applies the selected country code when sending.

How are non-Indian users verified?

Email is verified first through its secure link. WhatsApp is verified by WhatsApp OTP. If mobile and WhatsApp are the same number, successful WhatsApp verification can verify both. If they are different, the mobile verification step uses the registered email according to the displayed flow.

How long is an email verification link valid?

The latest email verification link is valid for 24 hours and can be used only once. Sending a fresh link invalidates the previous link. If the email is already verified, opening an older link confirms that the account is already verified.

Why can I not resend OTP immediately?

OTP forms use a resend countdown, daily send limits, and wrong-attempt limits to prevent misuse. Wait until Resend OTP becomes available. The page warns you when the final permitted attempt or send is near; routine remaining counts stay hidden.

When is my registered country locked?

The country is locked only after successful mobile or WhatsApp verification, including verification completed during login. Registration alone does not lock it. Once locked, changing country requires administrator review because country controls contact uniqueness, currency, city choices, and verification channels.

Where do I change email, mobile, or WhatsApp?

Open Dashboard > Account > Security and use the Change option beside the contact. Masinery first verifies your identity using the available secure channel, then verifies the new contact. A security notification is emailed after a successful change.

Can the same mobile or WhatsApp number be used twice?

A number must be unique for the same country and contact type. The same person may use the same number as both mobile and WhatsApp. A matching local number in a different country is allowed when its country code is different.

Dashboard and Company Information

Where do I find account and company settings?

Open the user dashboard and expand Account. Company Information contains identity, address, city, country, postal code, and contact details. Security contains password and contact verification. Machinery Marketer accounts also see Marketer Profile.

How do I edit Company Information?

Open Dashboard > Account > Company Information. The page first shows a business-card summary. Select Edit Company Information to open the form, make changes, then Save. Cancel resets unsaved changes and closes the form.

Why does profile completeness matter?

Complete and accurate company information improves trust and listing priority. Missing company, address, city, country, postal code, or contact verification can prevent offer posting or marketer-profile publication and can reduce visibility in search.

What if my city is not listed?

Select the country first and search at least three starting letters of the city. If no match is found, choose Request a New City, enter the city name, and optionally select the state or region. If Masinery finds an existing match, it selects that city automatically. Otherwise the request is reviewed by an administrator.

Can I continue posting while a new city is under review?

Yes. When the city request is made from the posting flow, it stays connected to that user and offer. The requested city is shown as pending and cannot be silently changed to another record. The administrator reviews the city together with the offer and can request correction if needed.

Can I change company name or GST/Tax details?

Company identity follows the correction period and verification state shown in Company Information. A newly saved company name may be corrected once within its permitted period. GST/Tax details remain editable until submitted and verified. Verified legal identity is locked; later corrections require administrator assistance.

Where do I change my password?

Open Dashboard > Account > Security. Change Password requires the current password, a different new password, and confirmation. Forgot Password inside the dashboard uses the registered secure OTP channel before accepting a new password.

Posting and Managing Offers

Who can post a sell offer or buy requirement?

A logged-in user must have verified email and mobile and the required profile location. Use Post Sell Offer or Post Buy Requirement from the main menu. Every new or reposted offer goes to Pending Offers for administrator approval.

What should a sell offer include?

Select the correct category and subcategory, complete the relevant technical specifications, provide a clear title and line-preserving description, choose price type and price basis where applicable, select the offer location, and add clear machinery photographs. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk.

What are the sell-offer photo rules?

You may upload up to five JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP images, maximum 5 MB each. Selected images can be added in more than one selection, reordered by dragging, rotated, deleted, or set as the main image before submission. Images are optimised and watermarked during processing without changing already posted originals.

What should a buy requirement include?

Clearly state the required machine type, application, preferred make or model, capacity, size, output, and important technical specifications. Buy requirements do not use machinery photos or seller-only condition fields. Clear and specific requirements usually receive better seller responses.

What happens after I submit or edit an offer?

The button is disabled after valid submission and progress is shown while processing. The offer appears under Dashboard > My Offers > Pending Offers. Administrator approval makes it active. Editing an active offer does not extend its tenure and may return it for review where required.

Where do I find each offer status?

Open Dashboard > My Offers. Use Active Offers, Expiring Soon, Pending Offers, Sold/Fulfilled Offers, Expired Offers, Removed Offers, Rejected Offers, or Saved Offers. Sell offers can be marked sold; buy requirements use fulfilled wording.

How long does an offer remain live?

Under the current lifecycle settings, first publication can remain live for 180 days, the first repost for 90 days, and the second repost for 30 days. The cycle then ends. A removed offer resumes only its remaining tenure. Administrators may update lifecycle settings, so the exact expiry date shown on your offer is authoritative.

How does Refresh Offer work?

An owner can refresh an active offer after the five-day waiting period. A user may refresh up to two offers in one day. Refresh improves recency within the fair-ranking rules but does not extend the offer expiry date.

What happens when an offer is not live?

Expired, sold, fulfilled, removed, rejected, withdrawn, or otherwise unavailable offers show the reason on the detail page. Price, contact information, and new communication actions are unavailable until the owner reposts the offer and it becomes active again.

How long can I correct a rejected offer?

A rejected offer can be corrected and resubmitted within 10 days when correction is allowed. Masinery sends a reminder two days before that window closes. The rejection reason and available action appear under Rejected Offers.

Enquiries and Contact Privacy

Where do I send and track enquiries?

Use Send Enquiry on an active sell offer, buy requirement, or marketer profile. Track it under Dashboard > My Enquiries. The submenu separates Received, Sent, Received Offers, Submitted Offers, Request Price, and Inspection Requests.

Can a guest send an enquiry?

Yes. The guest first enters an email. If it belongs to an eligible registered account, Masinery asks the user to login and returns to the same listing. Otherwise the guest chooses End User or Machinery Marketer and completes the short enquiry form. Guest contact details remain marked unverified.

Can a guest create an account after enquiring?

Yes. The success step offers Create Account to track the enquiry and become eligible for contact sharing after verification. Existing enquiry details are reused where safe. The guest sets a password and completes email, mobile, and WhatsApp verification according to country and contact choices.

Who can receive contact details?

Guests do not receive private contact details. A registered user must verify email and mobile before protected marketplace actions. Eligible details are shared through the related enquiry email and enquiry page rather than exposed publicly. End-user identity remains protected on public offer pages; approved marketer information follows the marketer-profile rules.

What do the enquiry ticks mean?

A single tick means the message was sent, double ticks mean it was delivered to the recipient account, and blue double ticks mean the recipient opened it. The displayed time follows the viewing user's registered country timezone.

Can communication continue when the listing is no longer active?

No new communication is expected while the related offer is not live. The enquiry detail shows the listing status and pauses normal actions until the owner reposts it and it becomes active again.

Where can I raise a concern about an enquiry?

Open the enquiry detail and use Raise Concern at the bottom. A registered user can submit one concern for the same enquiry; repeated submissions are blocked. Track concerns under Dashboard > Safety & Reports. Guests cannot raise concerns or report offers.

Make an Offer and Currency

When is Make an Offer available?

It is available only on an active sell offer with a negotiable listed price. A fixed or Not Negotiable price does not show Make an Offer. A Contact for Price listing uses Request Price instead.

How is the permitted offer amount decided?

The seller chooses a negotiation percentage when posting a negotiable price. The buyer sees guidance based on the seller's expectation but does not see the private percentage itself. An amount above the listed price or below the permitted expectation is rejected with a clear validation message.

Can a buyer submit more than one offer?

No. A buyer can submit one offer for a sell listing. Rejection does not create another chance for the same buyer. The seller may accept, reject, or send one revised offer; the revised-offer action cannot be repeated.

What are the Make an Offer response limits?

The seller has seven days to accept a submitted offer and up to 20 days to send the permitted revised offer. The track view shows the applicable deadline in the viewing user's timezone. Unanswered cycles lapse automatically and reminders are sent before the deadline.

Which currency is used?

A local buyer submits in the listing country's supported local currency. A foreign buyer submits in US dollars. The seller's revised amount follows the same conversation currency. The exchange-rate snapshot is fixed when that negotiation cycle begins, so later market-rate changes do not alter amounts already submitted.

Request Price and Inspection

When should I use Request Price?

Use Request Price only when an active sell offer is marked Contact for Price. Choose whether the request covers the machine with available accessories or also includes dismantling and loading. One request is allowed per buyer for that listing.

What happens after the seller quotes a price?

The seller enters the price in the listing's local currency and marks it Not Negotiable or Negotiable. Local buyers see local currency; foreign buyers see the locked US-dollar equivalent. A Not Negotiable quote can be accepted or rejected. A Negotiable quote can be accepted or countered once within the seller's expectation.

Where do I track Request Price?

Open Dashboard > My Enquiries > Request Price. The track view shows the request, seller quote, buyer decision or counter offer, seller decision, currency, price basis, and applicable response deadline.

Who can request an inspection?

Want to Inspect is available only to an eligible verified buyer in the same country as the active sell offer. It is not shown to foreign buyers. Request inspection only after the provided specifications and price are sufficiently suitable.

How are inspection dates selected?

The buyer chooses an available option such as Tomorrow, This Week, Next Week, or a permitted custom date range within 30 days. This Week is omitted when the current day makes it impractical. Sunday remains selectable when it falls within the chosen range.

Can inspection requests or dates be repeated?

A buyer can submit one inspection request per offer. The seller can accept it or suggest one revised date range. If the seller does not act within 30 days, the request lapses and the cycle closes. Track it under Dashboard > My Enquiries > Inspection Requests.

Machinery Marketer Profiles

Who can publish a marketer profile?

Only a Machinery Marketer account can publish in the Used Machinery Marketers Network. Email and mobile must be verified, and the required company name, business address, city, state or region where applicable, country, and postal code must be complete.

Where do I create or edit my marketer profile?

Open Dashboard > Account > Marketer Profile. The page shows the saved profile first; use Edit or Update to open the form. A new or changed profile goes to administrator review before appearing publicly.

How do marketer activities work?

The primary activity selected during Machinery Marketer registration is included automatically. A profile can contain up to two activities, including the primary activity. The primary activity follows the one-time correction rule and time limit shown in Company Information.

Can I claim an existing marketer profile?

An eligible logged-in Machinery Marketer can use Claim This Business on an unclaimed profile. The claim uses the registered account contact details; different details cannot be entered. One user can control only one business identity, so the claim option is disabled when that account already owns or manages a profile.

Why are no offers shown on a marketer profile?

Offers are shown only when the profile is claimed or sufficiently verified and the company currently has active offers. An unclaimed or unverified profile does not show a posted-offers section.

What improves marketer listing priority?

Complete company information, verified GST/Tax details, useful profile content, relevant activities and categories, and active buy or sell offers improve listing quality and priority. Incomplete profiles receive a dashboard warning and may rank lower.

Saved Offers, Alerts and Safety

How do I save an offer?

A user with verified email and mobile can select the Save icon on another user's sell offer or buy requirement. You cannot save your own offer. Find saved items under Dashboard > My Offers > Saved Offers; only View is needed from that list.

Where do I configure interested-offer email alerts?

Open Dashboard > Offer Alerts > Alert Setup. Enable alerts, choose up to the allowed number of main categories, select Sell, Buy, or Both, and choose the default user country plus permitted additional countries. Save the setup; use Modify when you need to change it.

Where do I view offers matching my interests?

Open Dashboard > Offer Alerts > Interested Offers. This page lists current matching offers separately from the setup page and uses Load More for additional results.

Where do I control expiry and listing notifications?

Open Dashboard > Offer Alerts > My Listing Notifications. Essential security and transaction messages remain active, while available non-essential lifecycle channels can be enabled or disabled according to the controls shown.

How do I report an offer?

A logged-in user with verified email and mobile can use Report This Offer on an eligible offer detail page. One report per user per offer is allowed. Track reports submitted by you and reports on your offers under Dashboard > Safety & Reports.

Customer Care and Notifications

How do I contact Customer Care?

First search this Help & FAQ page. If the guidance does not solve the issue, select I Could Not Find an Answer at the bottom. Registered email addresses must login before creating a ticket. New email addresses may continue as guests.

Where do I track support tickets?

Registered users open Dashboard > Customer Support. Guests use the secure time-limited tracking link sent to the checked email address. Each ticket has a reference number, status, conversation, and administrator response history.

Can I attach a file to a support ticket?

The initial ticket accepts text only so the issue can be classified first. After the ticket exists, one JPG, PNG, WebP, or PDF file up to 5 MB may be attached to each reply when evidence is needed. Never upload passwords, OTPs, payment credentials, or unrelated personal documents.

What should I include in a support ticket?

Choose the correct category, write a clear subject, describe what happened and what you expected, and add the related offer ID, enquiry ID, marketer name, or page where available. Use one ticket for one issue to keep the response clear.

Where are important notifications shown?

Important account, verification, offer, enquiry, negotiation, inspection, and safety updates are sent through configured email, SMS, or WhatsApp channels and may also appear as dashboard alerts. Dates and deadlines shown to users follow their registered country timezone; administrator records use Indian Standard Time.

Still need help?

Could not find the answer?

Create a support ticket only when the Help & FAQ guidance does not solve the issue. Use one ticket for one issue.
